A Workers Health Center by Qatar Red Crescent is a health center built in Industrial Area of Qatar that serve the workers of the area, Is now fully functional.
The work on the health care service project for single expatriates has already begun. The project includes three hospitals and five health centers distributed in various locations across the country. The projects will be implemented by the joint venture between private sector and the government. The temporary health center is the result of a deal between the Supreme Council of Health and Qatar Red Crescent Association. The Center will offer several services, including internal medicine, family medicine, and attend to chronic diseases, emergency cases, ophthalmology, dentistry, radiology, general medicine, laboratory, psychological and social support and pharmaceutical. All expatriate single male workers in the age group 25 to 50 years can make use of the health center. The Supreme Council of Health has urged all companies to send their workers to the center, as Hamad Medical Corporation will no longer accept any non-emergency cases belonging to this age group and category, and will be referred to the center.
